Online Education Modules

Dedicated to providing Canada's healthcare sector with knowledge to successfully implement standards throughout the healthcare supply chain, Carenet has developed three online webinars available through GS1 Canada Centre:

Integrating Global Standards in Healthcare will help you understand how to apply a set of common standards to consistently identify products, locations, assets and equipment throughout the healthcare supply chain. NOW AVAILABLE!

EPC/RFID in Healthcare will demonstrate how EPC/RFID technology has improved healthcare efficiency and enhanced patient safety by addressing such healthcare challenges as preventable medical errors, inventory control and asset tracking. Coming soon!

Implementing EDI will discuss healthcare-specific standards that will help your organization efficiently transfer electronic business documents, including purchase orders, invoices, advance ship notices plus other EDI transactions. This module will also demonstrate how the registry will provide Canadian healthcare stakeholders with a centralized source of truth for medical-surgical product information. Coming soon!
