Product Identification (AIDC)
Mandate
To further develop and maintain Canadian healthcare-specific technical product identification implementation guidelines relating to the automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) requirements set forth by industry and government legislation, and to ensure the highest level of patient safety and supply chain optimization.

Able to identify data capture for local technical information, product identification and encoded data requirements within the Canadian healthcare sector. This information is incorporated into Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards and implementation guidelines.
